Christmas Markets Berlin

There is no better way of getting in the spirit of the season than by visiting Berlin’s traditional Christmas markets with their dizzying array of hand-crafted goods and traditional food and drinks!

Get into the spirit of the season and visit three of Berlin’s spectacular Christmas markets. Pick up a handcrafted gift for the special someone and sample traditional foods such as stollen, candied apples, cookies, and big German sausages. What’s the wurst that could happen? Even in the coldest weather, a “Glühwein” or two – the hot mulled wine that is a staple of the markets – will have you feeling warm and cosy in no time!

You will visit three of the most attractive markets in the city, such as Spandau in western-most Berlin, which boasts one of the biggest Christmas markets in Germany but is seldom frequented by tourists. With its well-preserved medieval centre around the fourteenth century St. Nicholas Church, Spandau is the perfect setting to enjoy the festivities. You may also visit Charlottenburg Palace, where the Christmas market has been a local favourite for many years or Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the iconic landmark of West Berlin, near Ku'damm where you can learn about the rich history of this part of town.

Markets may differ depending on dates, but you are guaranteed to experience the very best of Christmas in Berlin!
