This jeep safari will take you on a tour of the island of Madeira in exhilarating style, seeing views and vantage points that are normally inaccessible in a coach or minibus.

Enter another world by joining this Land Rover tour with panoramic views, interesting places and sensational encounters with Madeira 's natural heritage.

The tour will take you from Funchal between high mountains and deep valleys to discover remote villages and hamlets such as Jardim de Serra with its splendid views over the Nuns Valley.

The jeep safari will start in Funchal and you will journey to Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, Boca da Corrida, Jardim da Serra, and Ribeira Brava.

Tour Availability: This tour operates on Tuesdays and Satudays only.

Departure Information: Hotel pickup is included for hotels in Funchal and Caniço. Hotels outside Funchal and Caniço area pick up will be from a meeting point as close as possible to the hotel. If possible this will be from the hotel entrance (if the road does not allow the bus/minibus to pass, pick up from the nearest point to the hotel) .

For hotels outside the Funchal and Caniço areas the departure for the tour will be from the company office – Estrada Monumental, 252, 9004-504 Funchal, Madeira.

For hotels outside Funchal we can offer transport for a small supplement which will need to be pay directly in resort.

Clients at Quinta do Lorde, Calheta beach and Saccharum:

• Jeep safari - €5.00/ per person (to be paid directly to the company).

The tour will end where it began – either at your hotel or the designated pick up point.

Start Time: approximately between 08h45/09h00 depending on the number of guests and hotels.

End Time: approximately at 12:45 and 13:00

Duration: approximately 4 hours

Transport for the tour will be a jeep (maximum 8 seats) and an English speaking guide will be present.

Boots or sports footwear, hat, sun cream, warm jacket, and a rain coat are recommended for this excursion.
