On this tour you will visit a host of different beauty spots as well as tasting the famous Madeiran wine.
You will start your day visiting Ribeira Brava and the banana plantations in Madalena do Mar.
Continue your journey in Porto Moniz and the famous volcanic swimming pools, the scenic northwest coast with its waterfalls.
Drive through the Laurisilva, an endemic forest of Madeira part of the world patrimony and enjoy views from Cabo Girão, the highest sea-cliff in Europe and 2nd in the world.
Tour Information
Tour Availablity: This tour operates on Sunday, Wednesdays and Fridays only.
We recommend that you wear comfortable, adequate clothing and footwear (sometimes a cardigan is advisable) and bring water, sunscreen lotion and a hat.
You will be picked up from your hotel or nearest pick up point. (For Hotels outside of Funchal and Caniço the tour will start from the main office).
For clients staying at Quinta do Lorde, please note there will be a small supplement (approx. €25 per person) to transfer to Funchal.
For clients staying at Calheta Beach and Saccharum, please note there will be a small supplement (approx. €40 per person) to transfer to Funchal.
Departure Time: approximately between 08h30 and 09h00 depending on the number of guests and hotels.
Tour Drop Off: approximately at 17h00/17h30.
Duration: Total duration of around 8.5 hrs approx.
Inclusions: Transfers from selected hotels, English speaking guide, lunch and free time for swimming dependant upon weather conditions.
Exclusions: Any other services not mentioned above.
The coach driver will be your guide, whereas on a coach you will get a separate English speaking guide, who will also speak an additional language. For any specific language requests, please contact us.
