Know Before You Go
- All tickets including Alcatraz cannot be cancelled once booked. No refunds can be offered.
- From 1st August 2015 ALCATRAZ implemented a new policy whereby they now require ALL Passenger names on EACH booking. This includes children from 5-17 years of age. Please ensure you offer us this information. If your name has not been listed on the booking, you will not gain entry!
- You will need to bring a valid photo ID for EACH passenger on the Alcatraz booking. Photo ID will be checked of all adult guests, 18 years of age or older. The names on the photo IDs must match the names on the booking.
- During JUNE, JULY and AUGUST the availability for this tour is very limited so please book early.
- The date you select when booking your ticket is the date your visit to Alcatraz will be reserved.
- Should you wish to start your bus part earlier, you are able to redeem the bus part of your Tour up to approximately 3 days prior to your Alcatraz trip. (Please ensure though that the date of your booking displays the date for your Alcatraz experience, as above).
- You must redeem your pass with City Sightseeing before the first use.

Upon booking your Alcatraz ticket requests are held by our supplier. Alcatraz issue tickets at their sole discretion. In the unlikely event they are unable to issue tickets for the selected date, an alternative date or refund will be offered.

Collecting your Alcatraz Tickets:
You MUST redeem your voucher(s) for your Alcatraz tickets from the City Sightseeing Office on the morning of your tour date between 8am and 10am. Failure to do so will result in disappointment. They will then let you know what time your tour will be.
Please Note: At the Alcatraz Cruises Departure Point (Pier 33) you will require your tickets. Our vouchers will not be accepted here.
Important: Average time spent on Alcatraz Island is approx. 3 hours. You can stay on Alcatraz Island as long as you wish, the ferry departs for San Francisco approx. every 30 minutes until 6:30pm.

Collecting your Tour Tickets: You will need to redeem your voucher(s) at the City Sightseeing Office. The City Sightseeing Office is at 1331 Columbus Avenue (between Beach St. & North Point St.), San Francisco, CA 94133.
You do not have to pre-select the attractions when booking. You can choose when redeeming your voucher once in San Francisco. You have approx. a week to use the vouchers for your attractions choices.

The Airport Shuttle option is for journeys from San Francisco to the Airport. It picks up from most Hotels in the Downtown and Fisherman's Wharf areas.
Tour Departures and timings are traffic dependent. During special holiday days or during special events in the city Tour schedules may differ. For the most up to date information please always enquire locally.
City Sightseeing Tours do not operate on Christmas Day.
