The city of Berlin is divided up into 12 boroughs, each with their own distinctive flavour and character. Since its political change, Berlin has blended its gothic architecture with modern styles which gives it a unique look, from the Berlin Dome to the traditional baroque of the Schloss Charlottenburg Palace.
